High Blood Pressure at Applebee's

Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. Good food! Had dinner here after seeing a movie. We were greeted promptly anthe waitress was at our table in less than a minute. There were 9 of us. Very friendly staff. I ordered the 7oz steak off the 2 for $20 menu. We got the spinach & artichoke dip. Yummy! Could have been a few more chips but yummy nonetheless. I ordered my steak medium rare. The waitress asked me to check the steak to see if it was cooked to my preference. It was medium well. She offered to take it back but I hate to waste food so I said I would eat it anyway. She asked if I was sure and said she could have another one done for me, but I ate it anyway. Even the manager came out and said it would not be a problem to have another one done for me. I said no, this one was fine for me. Now, that is great customer service!!!! This is a great place to eat!

I gave it a 2 because I'm sure there are WORSE, God forbid... Man I am never going back to Applebee's ever again. my rice was way TOO salty... my boyfriend thought I was joking until he tasted it. His pasta was cheap tasting... Also, the other time I went to Applebee's, my French Onion was COLD, practically STALE. NOT my favorite much less AVERAGE eats.

Good food. Love their Appetizers. Decent entrées and desert. I have been there a couple dozen times in the past few years and have always smelled wet mop water as soon as you go in. They need to invest in some Pinesol or empty out the water more than once a month. The food would taste even better if I wasn't left with that nasty smell at the back of my throat.

Food was great, i had the 9 oz sirloin. Chill atmosphere, perhaps since it was kareoke night. Also they had sweet prices on the drinks (2 for 1). But what really sold us were the bartenders.

Awful food. The service is good, and the ambiance is your normal Applebee's look, stuff on the walls, bar, huge TVs, etc. There is absolutely nothing for a vegetarian/pescetarian to eat here, and zero menu flexibility to make it bearable either. This suggests all the food is just reheated frozen junk. Everything is either made with meat or meat stock, and even though I eat fish, they took the teriyaki glazed salmon off the menu. Even all the salads are covered in meat. They are happy to take the meat off the salads, but I'm not going to pay $9 for a garden salad. They won't adjust the price down. That being said, they have some yummy cocktails and blended drinks. Plus, you cant blame this location specifically for a terrible menu/food, its a chain. Honestly if you want some American chain-restaurant fare that actually tastes good, try Ruby Tuesday down the road. Cheaper and plenty of vegetarian options, with a great salad bar.

The food is so so and it really isn't much food for the money. The wait is a bit long and I hate being referred to as y'all. That's not a word.

The manager is a very arrogant man. We asked for the air to be turned up along with everyone sitting in our area. He claimed he turned it up and got nasty when I told him it was just as cold as when we entered the restaurant. He argue with me and said if he turns it off that it gets like a sauna in here. That would have been an improvement. Everyone was freezing. He continued to ignore all the customers which is very poor in the public industry. The customer is always right except with Henry the manager of Applebee's in Orange City.

ROACH ALERT!! ROACH ALERT!! My girlfriend, her aunt, uncle and I were there SATURDAY afternoon. To get the 2 for $20. Now from the other reviews we all know about the quality of the food. It's ok at best. So we get our appetizers and as we are finishing the last of our boneless wings my girls' aunt says "OH MY GOD THERE'S A ROACH BY THE WINDOW!" I turn around and see this inch long roach walking along the window sill. So I run to get a waitress and it just so happened to be our waitress that dashes over there with one of those debit card/check holders. She proceeds to SMASH the roach against the wall right by this table of elderly people waiting to get drinks! The manager tried defending the place by saying it was the first roach he's seen there. I don't care if it's the first roach he's seen in his LIFE! He didn't charge us,OBVIOUSLY(!), but he was trying to act like it wasn't that big of a deal that there was a roach also there for the 2 for $20 deal!! NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE!

Last night was a disaster. While I enjoy a vibrant atmosphere, the karaoke music was so loud My wife and I couldn't hear each other gal even after she moved to sit next to me. After waiting more Han 10 minutes with no server in sight, we left. I called to speak to the manager and the music was so loud, the gentleman who answered couldn't hear me speak. After more than 9 minutes on hold, no manager picked up to speak. No service = no profit for this Applebee's.

Fast service, super nice server, really friendly. Our food came in a decent time. We went for the burger special on Monday, so it was a good value. Our burgers were great, the triple bacon and brunch. Fries were nice and hot and fresh. My only complaints, the ac was cranked a bit high, even for a restaurant it was cold. And some slobs before us had made a big mess under the table.

I've been to many many Applebee's, this one is well keep. Clean and friendly staff. Although one staff member looks out of uniform and just came from yoga class lol The burger was juicy and hit the spot. My glass was always full and all of our food came out promptly and accurate.

The drinks are okay, but a little watered down. The choose 3 appetizers are pathetic honestly. I chose the pot stickers, brisket sliders and pretzels with beer cheese. The beer cheese is WAY too salty. It tastes like cheese mixed with sea water. The Thai Peanut sauce that I ordered on the side for the pot stickers wasn't sweet; it was bitter and tasted old. The pot stickers were small and dry. I didn't even know pot stickers came so small. The pretzels were soft and ok though. The brisket sliders bread was dry, but the brisket was fine. The appetizers don't look anything like the photos though, so don't get your hopes up. I was hoping my impression of this place would improve with the new menu, but it didn't. It was obvious that everything is microwaved.... I don't think I'll ever return. The service is great, but the food isn't.

Not a very good experience for lunch. My sons Mac and cheese was on the dry side. My daughter ordered a steak medium rare, but it was delivered pretty much rare and barely warm. Even after getting a new steak it was still uneatable. I understand it was the lunch rush, but we hardly saw our waitress. She didn't even offer a drink refill until half of our party had left for the car and I was waiting for the check. We won't be back and we won't be recommending this place to anyone else.

Basic restaurant food. The biggest issue I had was meal size. I left hungry which is a definite issue for me. It also seemed very processed. I also didn't particularly enjoy having to walk around the homeless lady who was sprawled asleep over the bench right outside the front door that people usually sit at when waiting for tables.

On a busy night, the customer service was still up to par! The piña coladas are watery and do not even taste like coconut, but our service happily let us order something else. Our server was so attentive and friendly. Also, you can't beat half price appetizers!

The worst service ever. Never got our food. Walked out! Does not deserve one star.
